What's the point of sending all these temps when we don't have the hours to schedule them?

Do you know whose fault this really is? The Follett family who made decision to outsource leadership in 2013. The leaders of old didn’t want to pivot the model, hired someone to cut expenses (MLS) and make the stock price more valuable. It was never about the people, only about the returns. Everyone who thinks ANY of the current ownership cares at all, is suck battling Stockholm syndrome and doesn’t value themselves enough to go and find another job to better their life. There are many horrible companies to work for, this one has to be within the top 10.
Stop complaining and start making choices that better your life. No one deserves what is happening on a daily basis, but if you continue to endure it, that is all on you. Don’t be a victim.

Just a heads up, if you used temps and did not have budgeted labor, you will be terminated. You will not spend profit and not have consequences.
Oh...we have potential temps too but I have no payroll for them. I barely have enough for our own people.

We had a couple of temps walk in on Friday and I had to tell them that this was not their first day and needed to come back next Friday. We have 80 temp hours for the first 2 weeks of class. We were told we cannot trim our store hours. We still need to be open on Saturdays and still operate are off campus store for basketball games. I have already received numerous complaints from administrators as well as parents. I just stand there as they're yelling at me with a blank look on my face. 🤣
The got temps but no labor dollars to pay for them, i.e. they DON'T have temps.
