R2B cuts

I’m hearing R2B is going to be cut down in size soon. One or 2 reps per district is what I’m hearing.

I am assuming that R2B is referring to the BSS (Business Solutions Specialist) role, the in-store SMB rep.

It was a useless role.

They basically did nothing. Trust me I know because I have been in both the retail and business channels.

They would fudge a lot of numbers and basically take credit for things that happened without them based on reporting.

Sometimes they would even fight with the b2b channel and claim that they were talking to customers and record nonsense in Salesforce n discrepancy some of the adds. Lot of bs and headaches.

Was another useless layer and confusion.

1 to 2 reps per district? Sounds like the 2016/2017 model. That was SMB meets indirect at corporate stores. No ecode. It was more of a ra ra and training role. I can't see them going to that without a direct sell motion.

r2b is retail to business. They are talking about the reps that handle SMB. I don't know about this though because they are still hiring. I know someone who just went into that role this year.

SMB? No R2B in districts. Maybe know wtf you’re actually talking about before making a post. If it’s SMB, they should just cut the entire channel since they really don’t carry their weight. You literally have to beg them to come out onto the floor to actually work and take customers.
