Interesting timing considering next Tuesday is the first Tuesday of Q3, and it's well-known that WF is making a significant IT cut in Q3. There's a mad push to document every manual process in Jira so it can be turned into an agentic workflow.

The people pushing for AI are people who are listening to those selling AI telling them if they don't use it the company will fail. They don't understand how AI works and probably never use it themselves except to ask it to rewrite their emails.
There are better ways to show you didn't get a college degree but don't want to admit you got caught up in the scam that is the AI bubble and spent everyone's money on nonsense. Sadly this is WF, so you get this from someone needing to be sent on a vostok rocket into the sun.
Been in tech for this company 30+ years. Words simply can't describe how bad things have become. It's a daily comedy of errors.
