Contractor to associate - worth it?

I'm being offered a full-time role. Is this a good choice to convert?

Employees on the team are not happy, and the manager keeps nagging them.
I've noticed a pattern in which associate directors, or so-called "leaders," in my team single out a specific employee and begin demeaning them via emails, microsoft team chat, and team meetings.
Also, they try to bring one employee into the spotlight and make others feel bad about it.
Due to this, most employees are working like donkeys to get appreciation from their managers. There are too many senior (developer and leadership) roles in this team. Oldies in their early to late 50s are still in senior-level roles. This makes me wonder if this team is good for career growth.

As a contractor, I'm safe; I have been with Humana for 10 years and have a good role in the contracting firm.
Honestly, seeing the Humana associate's plight and just being offered a senior role with no reportees sounds like a demotion.

Why would you even ask if it’s worth it given your personal experience?

I feel very lucky, then. My leader is a LEADER and he is stellar. I've had two good managers and one not-so-good one, and even she still taught me somethings.

GET OFF THE TITANIC WHILE YOU CAN!!
Seriously...read ALL the comments from folks who have been around for 5-10 years, or more.
Whoever has bought the 'party line' or 'koolaid' is beguiled & foolish.
Humana is finally paying its due & (hopefully), looking at its end.
You don't want to be connected when it happens.
They do not care, never have, & never will.

I'm a contractor and feel that too. The employees are not treated well by Humana managers. Humana managers like us because we are lowly paid.
My Humana manager likes us contractors a lot. We get appreciation for the smallest things we do.
Full-time employees are continuously monitored, demeaned, and unappreciated for anything they do.
I feel nice about my situation but feel bad that I will never become an associate at Humana.
We, from the contracting firm, ensure no information is shared with employees. Make them depend on us for everything.
I was offered a full-time role here but can see myself working as a contractor here at Humana until retirement.

I’m a contractor too and feel more valued than an employee. I’ll never join as a full time! I get paid less so what?
Respect is important.

The following comment seems to have been made by the so-called leader, who is a stupid, selfish, freeloader, and business illiterate person.

Anyway, your team sounds like any other team led by incompetent individuals with little to no business, best practices, or process knowledge.

My team has some amusing aspects, like a technology-illiterate associate director who suggests confusing technical strategies.

Either stay and milk Humana as a contractor or find a good company to join as an employee.

Contracting is better as you can bill over time.

"Leaders" you say?? I've only ever noticed "Rulers" here in H-E-L-L...

The "Fraternal Order..."

Stick to contracting if you feel safer...
