More proof Ford should stop offering Warranties on all Ford vehicles and only sell them AS-IS Where-Is

Ford recall wave hits 387,000 vehicles amid record NHTSA alerts
Massive Ford re-recall: Over 387,000 Ford vehicles are being recalled again for safety issues, covering multiple popular models and repeat defects.

Record recall pace: NHTSA has logged more than 300 recalls in 2026 so far, with Ford, Jeep, Honda, and others facing major safety campaigns.

Owner impact rising: Even free repairs can mean lost work time, transport hassles, and resale concerns, especially under do-not-drive warnings.

@a4 if they do that bullsh-t, just get a lemon law lawyer and make Ford buy it back. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

They can pay you $70k for your $70k piece of sh-t Bronco and pay the lawyer another $15k, then sell the car at auction for $40k. Make them lose that $45k and regret firing you.

RTO 4 days mandate has improved company metrics. Fact. The initiative is a success and will be expanded when ready.

@ab I have been putting off some warranty repairs on my Bronco since I cant get my 4 badge scans per week if it is in the shop. The Bronco is my only car (my wife drives our other car every day to her job) so there is no way to get the repairs done until I quit Ford.

This is a way Ford is quietly reducing warranty costs. Many employees and most management with their lease deals drive Ford cars as the only car available to them in their household, so if they have to get 4 badge swipes per week, they can't get anything repaired under warranty.

Wait, wait, wait. Didn't we have corporate bootlickers here on this board touting RTO mandates as a panacea for our pervasive quality issues?

All we had to do was gather together, all join hands, and sing a little cumbaya and it'd all get better.

Hard to believe that these corporate cucks didn't know what they were talking about...

Worth considering as long as I would get a 15-30% discount to pay off future repairs for driving it off the lot! How about selling a QUALITY built vehicle instead of sticking purchasers with a P.O.S? DUH!

@a4 a friend of mine had his car in the shop for multiple weeks of warranty repairs and did not get a loaner (like normal for most Fords lol) so he didnt get his badge scans for a few weeks and got a message from his LL5 asking why he isnt showing up

Lesson learned: if you want to be a top performer at Ford, do not buy a Ford car

Do you not pay attention? Recalls are a good thing according to Jim, they build trust in the brand as it’s clearly a sign ford does the right thing to help consumers.

This is what will happen when I try to get that recall completed: The car will just sit at the dealer lot for 3 days before they even look at it, then need backordered parts for 2-4 weeks, then sit there for another 3 days after the parts arrive, then sit for another day before the service advisor realizes the technician already repaired it. They won't offer any loaners so I won't be able to get my 4 badge scans per week and I will be fired.
