We just got a clarification that we still have to come into the office three days this week even though Monday was a holiday, is this true for other groups?
I'm honestly disappointed and this screws up my personal schedule a bit

Not so long ago in mortgage, when people still wanted them in mass quantity, the company instituted mandatory overtime. That meant that you had no choice but to give up your Saturday to come into the office and process mortgages. That also meant that if you wanted to take SATURDAY off, you had to use a PTO day. That is how this shitstorm of an organization operates. F WFC
Why do you think they don’t have this in writing on the HR site? I see no reason to not have it in writing. Some town halls have discussed it, but it is easy to miss or misunderstand.
@1rbm+1kvQWt85 I can't find this, can you be more specific? Is it on WFOD? What day/month/video title?
I could spend SO MUCH more time working on Wells Fargo projects when working from home. Sitting in the rush hour traffic, driving into the city office took around 1.5 hours each way for about 3 hours of sitting in the car rather than getting to work longer from home. Plus the hundreds of dollars spent on the city parking garage. When working in the office I was often forced to work late hours and would not get home until very late at night, like 8 PM to 9 PM. After the Wells Fargo layoff I only applied for fully remote jobs. Got a new fully remote job pretty quickly, making more and I do work late most days at the new job, but do not mind it since there is no horrible driving commute involved. I am told I do NOT have to work late at the new job, but it is something I am willing to do since I do not have to take the long daily commute to the office.
Charlie confirmed in the last Townhall meeting that national holidays were considered one of the returned office days. Pull up the last Townhall meeting video and send it to your manager.
we had communication in our lob a few months back that indicated the same. seems like messaging is all over the place.
Fake news
Whether or not it counts, worst case scenario you don't go in, but every other week you consistently meet the 3 day requirement; how likely are they to take adverse action against you? The focus would probably be more on the ones not going in at all.
Why does it sc--w with your personal schedule? you should be working regardless of your location
This company will treat you the way you allow yourself to be treated. Take this information as you wish 😘
holiday needs to count otherwise we have building capacity issues in the hub.
Originally, i was told holidays count as in office days.
A few months ago, I was told that policy will no longer hold and holidays would not count as in office days.
A few weeks ago, I was told that holidays are now back to counting as in office days.
Sounds like WF can't make up their mind and is not enforcing things company-wide.
My group doesn’t count it either. I had emailed some rto support contact a couple months ago and they even told me there was no company wide policy that said this and that 3 days is still a requirement. Our boss is back from leave though and they don’t care but when they were on leave another manager sent us a “reminder” email about it.
Nope, our HR leader even confirmed holidays and PTO count.
Just don't go into the office and continue to WFH. If everyone does that, it won't matter...
Can't fire everyone....
@ukr+1kvQWt85 the information was sent out to managers in our group when discussing the new RTO tracking
Where did you see this?
Damn homie, that sucks.
