How about layoffs? Probably still saving friends and family over talent.

Let’s be clear though it’s not just “south asians”. If any one group gets hold of an entire organization inefficiencies and nepotism occurs. It can be “good ol boys” or any other group. Things are best when measured and balanced. DEI conceptually isn’t wrong. You do want a diverse team full of people with unique backgrounds that are actually competent at the job on hand. You don’t want hiring JUST for diversities sake though. Some in between is most desirable. What we have in GTS is most definitely one in group hiring others that look and sound like them mainly just based on if the guy being promoted will answer the phone all hours of the day and always says yes. That is horrible criteria to use to place jobs that pay 250k plus. The guy who answers the phone 24/7 isn’t doing that because they’re highly competent. If that were the case they would establish boundaries that protect their work life balance so they can live a little. They’re either trapped at VZ due to immigration factors or they don’t think they can afford to say no because their job prospects elsewhere are slim to none and they can’t go out on their own for the same reason. Leadership needs to start saying no to yes men/women and really evaluate WHY they’re always saying yes. Every idea under the sun is not a good idea. Yes is not always the right answer.

the south asian mafia are getting leadership positions everywhere. people believe their bs. then they bring in their clan, then they lay off americans. then they move everything to their country. when is US going to wake up on this scam
