So five years from now when AI is a huge failure what will corporate America do? Will all the leaders pushing it try to gaslight us into thinking they weren’t 100% behind it? Will they tell us it was just an experiment and they didn’t push it? Will companies start rehiring all the people they laid off? I want to see people claim they knew it wouldn’t work and they fought to keep people employed.

@OP AI will succeed at other companies just not here at WF, not with our current trio of incompetent leaders, SVB, BE and the always failing T Kerrins
It doesn't really matter. In between now and then how many people will be out of a job and permanently barred from earning a decent living?
The powers that be have already proven themselves capable of pretending the injustices perpetrated on people around the world during COVID never happened so whats a little rewrite of the history of AI compared to that?
@OP
Keep kidding yourself if that is what it takes...
They will summarily gaslight us into believing Ai was our idea and we were the ones responsible. The cat has been out of the bag, Ai is not about automation, it's about getting rid of people because the ivory tower lords don't like the unwashed masses.
They’ll just shift it back to All India.
Do they not understand the deep secrets of how AI really works? TheCerebrun.ai exposes it all!!
In general, AI will have many successes. At WFC? Probably much more limited because of the gross mis-application of the technology. Again, it comes back to horrendous management with unrealistic agendas.
5 years from now?? We will know within a year. The promises and hype are big, let's see if results follow. By next summer, the verdict will be in.
They will keep parts that are working, and will forget millions squandered chasing unicorns. Then the field will stabilize and there will be an AI 2.0 wave which people will ignore and bash (due yo the 1.0 experience). And 2.0 will bring in real changes and some transformation.
We are in 1996 dot come era right now, iphone took off around 2010…
