For those that today is your final day at Verizon, we who left before you thank you for your work efforts. Life exists after and you will rally to a great career elsewhere

Thank you for the kind words. Today is my last day and it’s a huge relief after many, many years. my job role at vz had become impossible. In Addition to my primary job role we also had to pick up all the customer service issues because we got rid off US cust service managers and repair support years ago. Offshore support in the Philippines are all very young in their 20s and churn over a lot. Spent 90 % of the time addressing customer issues and 10% of the time focusing on sales. Its the same for all of us. Mgmt didn’t care or couldn’t care. The extra work was too stressful. Verizon has been very good to me but I think the challenges will only become worse over the next few years. Wish those that are staying and those that are going all the best. Happy 2023.
