Organizations are unable to complete any of their "value added" goals because they are resource limited by not money but by people with skill and years of acquired knowledge. Now they are going after the near retirement eligible which will only widen the gap. REs should just take their millions and retire, let the corporation piptire the NREs, replace the supervisors with AI since they don't do anything until PA season anyway then leave all the real work to the hipos. LC can sit back then and see how that works out.

Unfortunately this is the industry trend, not just ExxonMobil. It is best to set yourself up for something different for when you get RE. Better to move on than getting yourself upset over it.

I was pip tired in 2024. My old friends in 2022, 2020, 2019, 2017. We were all forced out despite doing exceptional work. Our only fault was being older than the rest.
