Thread regarding Micron Technology Inc. layoffs

Recession ahead, memory is a luxury

This bubble will pop soon. We had a really good run. If you want one last pop before it's gone, short the stock after it makes new ATH this spring. When the stock drops, sanjay will bring out the axe and start swinging. Be like the squirrel, protect your nuts.

So, I'm the original poster of this comment. I will admit that I did not expect it to get this high, but I did buy into it and made about 10K. I was up 50K but that massive 2 day drop wiped out most of my gains. Anyway, I don't think this run up has much more to go. Maybe a little, but it's a lot of risk, especially after seeing how quickly it can drop. I started at Micron (Boise) in 2004 and just recently quit. I remember looking at the stock price history and looking at the run up to 2001 and thinking "of course it was going to come crashing down." Now, I want all of you to look at Micron stock now, and set the timeline to MAX. Compare where it is now to where it was in 2001. even if you adjust the chart to inflation, it still shows a massive bubble. All I'm saying is I wouldn't be long on this stock. I'm predicting a bubble burst in October AT THE LATEST. We'll see if I'm right.

US 39 trillion in national debt - no way of ever paying that down
2 trillion dollar deficits
~1.7 trillion in credit card debt
~1.7 trillion in student loan debt
it looks like nations are moving away slowly from the US reserve currency

AI is a bubble
the loans for this do not match the return

Micron has been increasingly hiring poorly over the last decade or two
and it wasn't great before

at least this should be very interesting
