The entire point of Nike's H1b & contracting addiction is the kickbacks. AI would replace ITC in an honest world. But these people weren't hired to "produce" in the first place.

Well...Claude+++ version of AI will take over every H1 and even the outsourcing needs in some cases...the days are numbered.....don't worry

Rednecks who can't get minimum wage job in McDs are talking about replacing talented H1Bs.
If you white-trash or descendants of slaves would be capable enough to put 2+2=4, the H1B program itself wouldn't have to be created in the first place.

When company initially recruited people on H1B, there was no presence of Nike in India. But now Nike is also in India and we need to limit H1B employees since the majority of H1B's are from India. We all need to start thinking collectively going forward for the future Nike.

I believe renewing an H1B for an employee is costing around 10K (just for 1 employee) and the company has to spend additional huge $$$ for their dependents to stay in the US. These costs will be accumulating and needs to be paid every 2 or 3 years. The company's HR and immigration teams needs to make a decision on the rising costs that the company is spending just on immigration. The company has to slow down on temporary visas like H1B and start recruiting US Citizens and Permanent Residents who has made their life in this country for decades and still struggling to get employment in the market.

in my opinion at least SM, Directors and Senior Directors should not be hired on H1B. Thats really ridiculous. Those are not specialized jobs. all they do is slacking and e-mailing.

Irrelevant. Sending all the jobs to ITC now. Big, beautiful brand new Tech facility built for us there.

It's intentionally expensive. The executives that sign off on these decisions get paid the excess.

never ever, ever never, never ever should there ever be a renewal of an h1b when american citizens and green card holders are being laid off

outright insanity and wrecks of fraud and insider deals with kickbacks

those vp's should be fired on the spot

Nike is spending thousands of $$$$ to recruit people on H1, instead they can reduce hiring people in this program which can save $$$$ to the company instead of laying off random people
