I'm a GSR6 and my bonus is $16k. Is that a good amount, or am I getting the short stick? I'm honestly just trying to ask. A good friend who is a GSR7 received $23k, but his leadership loves him.

GSR6? Get back to work lol
I'm always d-mbfounded how the hope of 2-10k more in a year (at best) is supposed to make to make someone work harder, or be motivating. I'm not loaded, but I'm not living paycheck to paycheck either....
They paid pennies last year when I was GSR7 , the manager was a dush who applied for other jobs to run away from the department. Gave everyone a bad performance , he was gone and most engineers under him were laid off by the brown dirt.
To the OP, the dollar amount isn't relevant to the question you are asking. All you need is to look at the individual contribution %. If above 85% for a met/met, you are doing ok. 100% or higher and your management is taking care of you.
@dz if a person voluntarily left, are they eligible to get bonus? I voluntarily left last month, but haven't received any direct deposit yet. Not sure if I am eligible.
It's phenomenal. Be thankful you're not agency. No bonus and no raises. Just lame excuses why they don't have budget to give to agency. Not like they ever give more than a COLA amount anyways.
Are you suggesting that not everyone is convinced that Ford is a leading manufacturer of electrified vehicles? Didn’t we hear that’s what customers are demanding?
Always good for a laugh and some down votes!
Sounds like a fair bonus. The only short end of the stick is in your pants!
@db I would assume they are going to send a check. I have left voluntarily in November.
To be honest based on past year’s experience, I would not expect too much. Typically, the people that left get lower amounts than what they would have gotten if they stayed. In particular, since PRs were completed so late this year and could have been gamed accordingly.
Yes it’s very good, you got slightly more than me and I am close to upper limit of GSR6 HTHD bracket for salary and had good review. Maybe I’m the one getting the short end lol
At least 30k

There could be many reasons
- some people at Ford made smear campaigns a career choice. Either being the instigator or one of the mob.
- some people at Ford made coasting under the radar a career choice
- some people bought into the line that they would have lifetime medical and lifetime pension and spent every nickel of their pay for 35 years.
In the first case, if they retire where will they get their excitement and jollies? If they try it at home they will find themselves divorced.
In the second case, where else will they get paid for doing nothing?
In the third case, well it is sad but common. One LL6 is working at 71 and has had more stents and heart surgeries than I can count. His plan is to “work” until he croaks. SMH the guy spends loads at the casino and has a condo in Vegas as well as his own plane. For the past 20 years I’m not really sure what he has contributed, but they keep him around so he must be providing some value.
@d2 I officially retired 1/5/26 and have received nothing yet from Ford.
Was your bonus direct deposit?
Being there 35 years - all that says to me is that you have that boomer - company loyalty mindset. It also indicates you "could" retire but either won't or keep hanging on for some other unseen reason you enjoy torturing yourself about. The last and typical reason is that you cannot retire and and have mis-managed your funds. I don't understand why anyone with the means and financials wouldn't retire if they could. Maybe you enjoy being told when you can squeeze a drop and when you cannot. When you have to show up and when you can go home.
@d5 That's not the market perception you mo--n. The market is what matters.
You are so negative. Why dont you just pack up your negative but and get out of Ford. you ungrateful dirt bag.
I have been here 35 years. They have been more than fair to me.
@af WRONG! Many of us received MORE than this...go troll elsewhere.
@OP Bonus is variable based on several items. Your amount is very good as a GSR6...I have been there to get next to nothing due to financial crisis, COVID, etc. Invest some of this for the future!
Happy Day! Retiree and received a great bonus, very happy with my amount. Taxes were the worst of it...Go Ford!
They HAVE to pay like this. Otherwise no one would work at Ford. The bonuses are high because of the pace and the BS people have to put up with. Ford has no choice but to be competitive on salary because it is an undesirable place to work and they know it. I know a handful of people that have left for lower salaries for the sake of their health and sanity. Some were even remote and chose to change jobs and go into the office somewhere else to escape the insanity. Ford offers a special brand of it (insanity).
LOL. This is rich. Guy from the loss leader part of the business states that his bonuses were very rewarding. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Either way this guy is one of those that stays on the track while the train is coming and tells you there's nothing to worry about.
@an
Payment should hit on Friday 03/20/2026.
Should already show on the payslip available on the internal site.
Has anyone received their deposit yet? I don’t see it
I work in Model e and the bonuses here were very rewarding this time. No surprise, you would expect that when working in the company's most important business unit.
There are several variables. You can look up pay scales. An LL6 can make as little as 100k. GSR8s are pushing 170k max.
Not many got the 130% if at all. That was dependent on group.
Did you know that there are some "important" teams there that have bonus targets almost twice what the rest of Ford gets? I'm not talking execs. A dirty secret they dont advertise.
impossible for you to get those amount at gsr level. why come on here and lie
no I'm a gsr3 and I got 6Million.
Hey has it hit the bank yet? I didn’t see anything yet? Yes that is a very good amount
