Mike Sicilia vows to Congress that we will get the Veterans Affairs EHR project back on track. Started out as a $10B project and now 4 years later after huge delays and cost overruns the project has cost $16B and costs still are increasing d and it is still not useable !!!
On top of that the failed EHR system has been deemed to be the cause of many sustained injuries to veterans in Spokane.

Congress says either some progress has to be seen very shortly or they will cut it off early 2023.
How can a project get so completely out of control?? This is a highly visible project that can work either as a great benchmark or an even bigger anchor.
How come Safra or LE is not taking direct ownership and single point of contact on a project like this and driving to success? This would seem to many to be the logical next step... unless of course we are just asking to be dragged around in the mud.
