FIS/TSYS layoffs

I hear major layoffs are coming by April that will hit the Product, Technology, and Operations groups as they consolidate these organizations.

Given the size of the two organizations that have been combined and of course there are many redundancies there will no doubt be lots of consolidation as TSYS is absorbed by FIS. Neither has needed an excuse to lay off like crazy the past few years, so there's no reason for me to think that the next few years would be any different. "Synergies" and AI will give them a built in excuse for layoffs. Buckle up, y'all. It's gonna be a bumpy ride. Gotta love corporate America.

Stephanie will be able to report another better balance sheet for the board: balanced on the backs of multiple divisions with layoffs. It'll be a real bang up start to to 2Q 2026 for her.

What are they waiting for? Stephanie should have gone already, it would buy time with the market while someone new finds their feet, a free pass for a few months. It feels like they are delaying waiting for something. Is there a buyer? The stock price has been depressed for so long causing so many cuts..

Expect significant layoffs every month for the entire year, not just related to FIS/TSYS overlap.
