Is the salary range on job postings base salary or total compensation? The salary range already has over 150,000 dollar difference so hard to tell if it’s included or not. Thank you. (I know this was asked in past my apologies for not finding it but the search feature here is worse than search feature on teamwork’s aka something useless)

Why do they have a salary range if they are not going to pay you max?
the entire thing is meant to obfuscate further while claiming 'transparency'.
Depending on the specific state law, and the level of the job, it may be base only OR it could be total comp.
As has been pointed out already - it's all but meaningless since the ranges are so wide, even on just the base pay. that's because what is published is the range for that 'level' position across the company, through all functional job families at the same level - and they vary by function and location. by 'level' I mean the designations like P3, P4, M2, M3, M4 etc. By 'function' I mean things like "analytics", "business execution", "finance" etc. Geography is area differential. so a "P4" position (an individual contributor "lead consultant") range will be from the lowest paid P4 function in the lowest paid geography, all the way to the highest paid P4 function in the most expensive geography.
Salary only. And you should assume no bonus.

Always Salary only. Never includes a bonus as that is never guaranteed. And we no longer have bonus targets for roles.

I thought it included total comp for jobs that participate in the annual incentive program?
I do know that I get quarterly bonuses (branch banking) and my comp range only includes salary.
