TA is more responsible than anyone for wasting significantly more resources branding and supporting low-end third party devices than having a logical portfolio on a common platform.
As a result, economies of scale never materialized due to overhead required when SKUs are coming from different OEMs and do not share a common architecture.
Partly shocking that he’s still hanging on.
