Will I get "rewards" for going to HR for re-evaluation ? (Did not hear back from them)

@bp thanks for the advice, but I am in more sh-t..my mid year wasn't great, but ok..I did question but was pacified by my manager..and now got 4 , with this can't land anything..created a case with HR..waiting for response (and retaliation)
This was in 2024 so I got 3/3 (I'm sure just to keep me quiet) and minimal discussion. The manager i escalated to did nothing to help and left Citi soon after. I took a lateral move and got a 2/2 this year so my best advice for anyone going thru this is to just remove yourself from the situation.

When I went to them after getting a bad mid-year from a manager that was already retaliating after I escalated a concern to his manager, they just told me to talk to my manager about it. Knowing they hated me. My manager then full on admitted that they were taking out their anger on me and HR did nothing about it, only passed the case on to Ethics. After the ethics investigation they came back with the result that "actions were taken" but they still let my old manager have full responsibility for my performance review and year end comp. So no, HR will not help you. They will throw you back to the wolves for another attack and then pass what's left of you on to someone else.
@ak I think you did not get my point, I already created it, what I am asking is the idea of the level of retaliation waiting for me..if anyone faced already or have an idea please share
If you have documentation that backs up your claim that you were unfairly reviewed then I would open a case with HR. If all you have is ‘but I was better than that’, you will get nowhere.
