@OP most likely PE acquisition. If Thoma Bravo then other than core CC product ( VCC & Voice), other teams working on anything else are at the risk of layoff, as Verint+ Calabrio have better solutions

Realistically speaking, we have no idea what is going to happen that far out.

The incoming CEO has made some good comments about Wall Street not being the sole focus, and how we need to continue to focus on our core platform. We can’t forget about the products that got us here.

Unfortunately we need to give the guy a chance, and with him spending up to two weeks a month in California, I doubt US technical resources will be impacted immediately.

Complaining is fine, but be a little realistic in what you’re looking for. We got exactly what we wanted with a leadership change.

My 2026 CcaaS prediction.

With Five9 hiring a PE professional as ceo, they are planing to go private.

Have Thomas Bravo buy them, join them with Verint and Calabrio and try to make a super CX company to try to rival NiCE.
