@OP It depends. For starters, dump all known facts for inside/outside roles into AI along with all other information you view as material for a decision, and get AI's opinion.
@a9 grow up and spell lose correctly.
HE-L NO, I won't go!
Life is good.
Take it and don't look back. Verizon is a sinking ship.
If you have the opportunity to change industries then pick one you have a specific interest in, not one that just pays the bills. These chances don't come around often. Chose wisely my son.
Once the company gets past this layoffs phase things will calm down and everyone will forget about it.
So, if you think your in a good spot at Verizon than you might want to stay. That way you'll maintain your vacation time and won't have to start over.
If not, you might want to venture out and accept the new position outside Verizon.
YOU must have applied to get an offer from THIS new company! Are you worried about getting laid off? Is the NEW offer going to meet your needs and wants? Will you be happy to get up and go to work MOST days? Ask yourself hard questions and then decide. Only you can decided!
Take new job.
Grow up and take before you loose it.
Big girl* pants actually lol
Only reason to stay at VZ is if you want to roll the dice and potentially collect severance after getting laid off. If you value a steady paycheck, take the new job
Time to put on your big boy pants. No one can make that decision for you. It’s stupid seeking input from others. None of us are you or in your specific situation.
Yes. In a heartbeat.
