Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Reorg Thoughts

This reorg was handled so poorly. From the way it was announced to some really hardworking and talented people who ended up losing their roles. PepsiCo made it clear you are only a number, there was no effort to condense the workforce through removing under-performers or individuals ready to retire. It was just a blanket cut of roles. What is even more irritating is there is a new batch of campus hires celebrating their new jobs with PepsiCo on LinkedIn. It’s no surprise it was handled this poorly with Ram and Ramon’s track record. This is just the beginning of it as well, get ready for more in 2026. Elliot has spoken. Really discouraged and disappointed with PepsiCo and its felt the same by many employees.

@cg With 35 years at PepsiCo, can we assume you sold your integrity, character, and soul?

It's a sad thing that has to be done. What will it take for everyone to just stand up and fight back? Every quarter is the same thing...Here comes another layoff. This site is built off that activity.

Write your congressman, write people in the Senate, write the VP. If you're going out, go out fighting! Don't just accept and hope the next one isn't you. Ramon and Athina know you won't do a d@mn thing about it. You'll just replaced with someone offshore.

35 years at Pepsi taught me one thing. You are only valuable if you are willing to sell out your integrity, character and soul. They always remove the people trying to solve the problems and keep the people who created the problems. I can only hope Elliott will see the facts.
