Besides being underpaid, the other reason I intend to quit soon is middle mgmt. There is no justification for their positions, many mid-level managers lack a specific purpose and, in my opinion, only harm Verizon. Is it possible that the most important people of the company are not aware of this?

While some are a joke they are largely stuck in the middle of trying to support their team and their director/vp that tells them their team isn't executing (and doesn't raise concerns up)

I second the middle management in NY/NJ both B2b and retail channels
I know it is in every company, but the middle management here in the north east is flat out laughable .
