while the engineers at the bottom get cheapened and replaced/cut
and the US debt keeps exponentially growing
I would not be surprised if AI becomes a dot com type bubble but much worse. It takes an insane amount of energy to power those centers.
Or maybe someone emerges as an Anti AI Advocate and that brings it down. In any case, Alvind and IBM were late to the party as usual. But him, Krabanaugh, and Joanne Wrong and the rest of the pipmunks will get a bigger bloated perk package for 2026. They are pr0stitutes to Wall Street. Even if IBM lost money and could not pay a dividend. They see workforce cuts and those evil Emm Effers get rewarded

The mumbling 1d1ot has been barking about AI, watsoxx during his useless office hours for last 2 years. Now, that he is assured of his $100 millions pillaging, he is turning to sp-t on AI strategy. Useless m0r0n.
Nobody is making money on AI. OK, technically, some are, but they are having to spend 100x more on capex to do that, so the net loss on AI is huge for the next several years. The only companies that are going to survive this insanity are the ones with piles of cash on hand and already huge incomes to fund it all.
IBM is not even in this game.
SSDD - all the other big AI companies are making money on AI, except perhaps decrepit and feeble IBM. This is the "sour grapes" talk from the guy who overpaid for Red Hat by many billions of dollars - IBM CEO, Alvind Krishna.
