Employee Surveys

For many years I answered the annual Employee Survey in a very 'political' fashion, giving them back what they wanted to hear, but on this last survey I told the truth, and in October I was gone. Coincidence? I think not!

NEVER fill out a survey honestly. If you need to make a statement, just don't answer at all!

Are these survey results ever shared? If so, when?

Every other company, including some very toxic ones, shared feedback after the results were collected.

ANY survey that comes to your email address with a “do not forward” is TIED TO YOUR IDENTITY. Don’t fall for the it’s anonymous bu||sh*t.

The only place anywhere where you can answer the survey honestly is on TheLayoff.com.

My feedback for Oracle?

  • You treat your employees like fecal matter
  • Your culture is non-existent nowadays
  • No one feels supported anymore
  • Middle management is your biggest problem and you won't do anything about it
  • Your marketing is a Potemkin Village
  • Ethics is missing from the company, especially with SEC investigations
  • Constant re-orgs don't lead to greater productivity
  • Safra should get her head out of spreadsheets and talk to employees
  • LJE should leave Lanai and see how the work environment actually is
  • JM should wisen up and realize he's not the marketer he thinks he is

Depends on the management in the area you are in. In general, I would say it's safer not to answer.
