All of Optum at home needs to be rethought. Leadership in the Midwest is a disgrace, micromanagement is off the charts, leadership is vindictive and retaliatory. They do NOT want to promote you or move you anywhere after hundreds of applications and years into the company. If you say one thing that isn’t liked within Optum you will pay for it until you’re driven to quit from the pressure. This entire company is a disgrace. I PRAY every day I get laid off. Any news for 2026??

You can let your manager know you want to be laid off.
Optum will disappear due to well managed competition. AI implemented by people that understands the US Healthcare and the ethics around it. Optum followed the advice from Mr. Dadlani to close and without challenging or care, just greedy decisions.
Optum never knew how to operate in the home care world. They just buy up companies and dissolve competition.
Fu-k em. Do your 8 hours and take your breaks. I rather be laid off than give them me quitting. I’ll take my severance and find another job. Not the end of the world. I can’t keep letting them get every second of my day.
