@ad it’s the perpetual circlej--kand back patting of all the new leaders.

In all the years I’ve been around I don’t think I’ve seen more st-----g of leaders than I have the past few years.

@a9 but it’s so easy when you’ve got a person making several million a year and doesn’t deliver Jack Sh@t. Even in her first role she managed to pi-s people off with her nonsense.

Makes me wonder what sort of deal she has that they don’t send her packing. SVB must be her godfather

All that aside CL is a big job and why they gave her AI is a mystery when you got CM with all the ai/ml stuff for the most part.

@a8 every good and functional tool is being replaced with a slow, cheap tool. It's hilarious watching a corporation that makes $20Bn in profit per year pick nits over tens of thousands per year in licensing costs.

Everything this company does in anti-innovation.

Fkn id--ts. Copilot is so bad. Where is Claude? Where is Gemini 3? Where are the agents? Even the chinese open source models are better than Copilot.

Furthermore, the few people I knew who had the chops to actually implement AI in a meaningful way were let go lol. This is assuming the firm would have the sense to spend on useful tools, which they aren't.

I sometimes think management is secretly trying to scuttle it, because their 3 remaining brain cells have enough capacity to at least grasp the idea that they aren't needed when half their employees go away.

TK’s AI Strategy -

  1. Figure out what AI is
  2. Buy an AI product made by Microsoft
  3. Add some random AI educational vids

Wow incredible. Bravo.

@a4 for 9MM plus a year you’d think we would have something to show for it.

@a1 lol. I know. They’re crowing about copilot etc. like you haven’t done anything but make a MS product available.

Twice now the adults have had to step in and take on TK's role, yet she's still here. What does that say about the C Suite who keeps making these poor decisions?

Sips coffee, spews nonsense about AI. Goes on to something else In a year.

Most of the stuff he initiated in tech has gone away or been a failure.

The AI will be super productive, once it's taken a sip of its coffee.
