I’m looking to get hired at Verizon as a developer in Alpharetta, Ga.
Have layoffs affected the Alpharetta location?
Is there a hiring freeze now in place?
Do I still have a chance of getting hired?

I hope so. That corporate office was full of entitled employees and leaders especially in the BGCO that were at times protected and rewarded for bad behavior.

@OP of your an employee there is a chance since it's not a new hire but I'm sure new hires are on hold as well as expense contractors and capital contractors are being reviewed if we still need them all
I’d say check again after next earnings. Things may open up then.
Major hiring freeze. And every aspect of the org was hit including developers.
