Most the time you know by 11, one year i did not hear anything till 3 as my manger and AD got riffed so they sorta forgot me...
The way they are handling this is horrible. Dan's email should have laid out the timeline and process or somebody in HR should have had an email sent right after Dan's with that information. Lay it out, you will get an invite from AD/SD or it will be a phone call and will come by x time. Making people wait like this and giving some false hope and others unnecessary stress is cruel and unprofessional.
