I am in the Columbus UW site and A few days ago, my manager sends me an email saying to expect a zoom call invite and he has no details on what it is. The subject title was “employee readiness” and he said that each team had to provide one person to attend. I have not received any zoom invite yet and was wondering if this can be related to any of the rumored layoffs and if any body in UW has gotten this Zoom invite yet?

Shoosh it gold troll go back in the mountain and mine
The USA is going gold back currency so there won't be any need for JPM or any other banks. And bye bye FALLstreet.
I was called into a last minute meeting and it was regarding active sho-ter training... that might fall under employee readiness?
I think you are getting a big bonus
Back in the first layoff of many I have survived at Chase, they called all the underwriters into a meeting. They asked 3 people to stay on the floor in case of emergency. Those 3 got rif’d
They never do a layoff the same way twice
Yea but his boss told him to be aware in the past no boss gives any employee a heads up you’re getting a zoom! Especially if it’s a layoff. I mean why didn’t you ask what’s it’s about I would have.
I am just kind of worried that it may be negative because if its positive, then why not give some details of what it could be? And then again, if it was going to be being laid off, then they wouldn’t let you know to be expecting a zoom call in advance. From my understanding, the previous rounds nobody knew ahead of time.
Honestly doesn’t sound like it sounds more positive than negative.
