Far Exceeds?

Did anyone get a far exceeds in their review? I have my review tomorrow and am nervous.

Depending on your division. Only meets is allowed.

What are the incentives based on ? Within a team someone got 1000 and some got 5000 last year. Is the incentive based on grade level and BU ?

My review rating was exceeds this year. I'm told that those with incentive will get it in February. Merit increases won't come in for another month or two and the % is still unknown. Last years merit raises were higher than normal. I've no indication as to what this year will look like but I'm certain it will not even come close to accounting for inflation.

@smo+1kYY00T9 If you have been given Far Exceeds 3 years in a row and have not been promoted yet then something is wrong.

My review pretty much says I do the job of two people and perform a level higher than my grade level and still got a meets. But I also know that anything above meets has to be approved from above

Meets isn’t 2%; many times meets is less than 1 percent. The managers are given a percentage that they can increase their budget by. Say 1 or 2 percent this year. They will have to distribute the dollars between their team members. So if a manager gets 1 percent to distribute and they give you 1.5 they have to give the others less than 1 to make up for the shortage.
You can expect meets and 1 percent or so.
If you’d really like different you have to resign and return at a new wage level. This doesn’t work with Frank so best bet is to be prepared to either resign after finding a better path or accepting being stuck with a mediocre review and a more than mediocre increment.
My option was to select the former and find a different firm that suits you where you can thrive.

What is the "meets expectations" raise? Is that tied to the performance review? Is that 2%

It’s a very discouraging time of year…there is nothing there to be “up” about..and this falsely inflated stock… they have to be up to something all for “their” benefit.. if they were for the employees they would profit share…

I hear that they have been decided but not communicated yet to the CIO/SVPs. My manager said don't expect much

Frank got a far exceeds bc he got a 6% pay increase. The rest of us will likely see 1.5%-2%. #frankserv

For all those who had their reviews completed. Is the merit increase still in 1-3% range ?

I got a far exceeds and my coworker got exceeds. I am significantly underpaid for my current role and so are they, so I think this might be their idea of making sure we don't quit...

Fiserv managers aren't allowed to hand out 'Far Exceeds'.

My manager stated they were told not to give out over a "meets".

You getting a "far exceeds" means some poor schlep is going to be downgraded to a "Does not meet" & fired.... because apparently to the smooth brains in HR, a normal curve is proscriptive rather than descriptive

If you do get a FAR exceed, keep it printed and saved along with your resume and references - never hurts. And do not EVER by shy about getting references, the more the better.

I don't know what BU these responses are in but I've been rated far exceeds the last three years - it does happen.

I got meets. My director said long ago don’t expect anything higher as you have to walk on water and kiss up to even get an exceeds. I only got one o ce for ki-ling myself for long hours and guess what…. It wasn’t worth the lousy 1% extra

Just second what other people are saying. Unless you're making or saving Fiserv money very rarely are you going to get a significantly exceeds. Also your merits are tied to your ratings as well so the higher you go the more they have to pay you. Expect a meets

My manager told us years ago that no one ever gets far exceeds and it’s hard to get rated above a meets. We already received our reviews last week but merit increases haven’t been approved yet so I’m guessing it’s not going to be much
