That's too many considering how overworked everybody already is. If they were getting rid of useless management layers that'd be one thing but they're not. They never get rid of them. They're once again going to cut the people who do the actual, necessary work. That will create a mess once they're gone, in my opinion. We need people for the work to get done. There is only so much the rest of us can take over from them.

This company doesn’t pay management very well. In fact I’ve seen situations where newly hired people make more than managers who have been with the company for over 5 years. Of course management is not going to care.
Mmm, I'm not sure I fully agree. We did a ton of hiring during the pandemic and I do still encounter a lot of people who don't really do anything.
That being said, yes, I've seen good people actually doing necessary work get fired. Nothing about the situation is going to feel good to us.
Yeah it is a management failure yet they are the ones making these decisions.
I agree. A lot of senior management were hired last year. But I didn’t see any of them losing their jobs. Its ridiculous how they axed the ones who are making much lesser than these management. And not to forget, management is the reason we got into this in first place.
