So great to have another pointless all company call. 25 minutes of recognizing corporate higher up and nothing for the field. It was great how it ended when the big guy got agitated (again) when a field manager addressed the labor shortage. We are not id--ts. We understand it is a business but the immediate question prior was a complaint that it’s impossible to take PTO. We are your money makers… not a hindrance. His viewpoint was clear… it’s not changing, get over it. I will as I leave after 20 years. Bye

@1ueu+1kXaQH64: AP outsourced? Another explanation for the stupid emails asking for copies of receivers they should be able to log in and pull themselves. Id--ts. We don't have time to do your job for you! We are busy at the register!!
EK said it was a good idea to outsource AP as it is not complex… Ignorance is bliss. Learn from the past… Temp work Outsourced - Failed… Development Outsourced- Failed… QA, Technical Support, Cloud Services… Failed, Failed and…. But maybe the next try will work!
Guess history is not learned from.
@1rdu+1kXaQH64: that explains why the bills aren't getting paid. 😂
A/P was hit back in September - reduction of team handling paperwork by half.
Third?! Ha. We are locked in the engine room still shoveling. And in this version, the captain and first mates take the first life boats, with caviar and a space heater, while stepping on the women and children. Remember, they are getting paid over likely $600,000 to bark orders without actually doing anything.
JRC is turning out to be the Titanic. Looks great but in the end it sinks. Cheers to the sinking of Follett. You know all of us in the stores will be holding 3rd class tickets when it's time to go
Even inmates get breaks to go outside, go to the bathroom, and eat. Ha! He is treating you worse than inmates. Watch out, he might have you stamp the plates to his new Bentley that he bought based on your hard work.
Remember when this was the answer and they would be amazing!
Where is RP? In a corner rocking and st-----g his pet rock named ACCESS?This is his father in laws money, talk about being sold on a bag of dog cr-p. No more family dinners, or using the family jet, for him.
Project Moving Forward… @79M of plan.
I couldn’t attend. I had to take care of my customers. How are people able to attend this? I literally know not a single store manager that could spare the time.
*With the acquisition, JRC has overhauled the top management of the company. *
Private investors led by Jefferson River Capital LLC (JRC).
This is like the Hindenburg disaster - Oh the Humanity!
If Top Management doesn't understand where the cost centers are and what you HAVE to support to get back to profitable - Oh well - we hired HF, we just need a couple more senior executives to turn this around - get rid of some more of those lazy jerks in the stores and cut the ones left pay.
Yes sir Mr. Scrooge...
Terrible communication and direction from these people. It’s fine if you want to layoff the entire staff, but the least you could do is provide some direction. They just slash payroll to nothing and assume it will all work out. It’s like the guy in Office Space who was laid off but no one told him, and due to a glitch in the payroll system he continues to get paid. Their solution was to fix the glitch, not tell the guy and assume everything else will work out. This is Follett leadership in a nutshell.
What exactly are they patting themselves on the back for? a couple schools are doing great in sports? Whooptio! The internet goes down at least four or five times a day. You can't log into CT, POS system takes 15 minutes to load or oftentimes longer. The reviews we are getting through the survey suck because we have no people to help students. There is product just piling up in the back of our stores because we have no employees put it out, but the sh-t keeps coming. RMs can't really do anything because they are being squeezed by the ba--s to enforce the unenforceable.
