Are February layoffs confirmed for Oracle Advertising or just rumor?

OA = Oracle Analytics

OA = Oracle Advertising? On life support, or being sold off.

Apps = didn’t make last quarter but not bad, just depends on which apps.

Chances of layoffs in both? High.

I presume OA = Oracle Applications , it’s too generic for someone within oracle to post and seems to be baiting for responses from a wide range of people. Some apps are good many are not, I left the company after working in one of the CX apps, man that was a big waste of my time.

What is OA? My apologies, I’ve only been here for about a year and haven’t gotten my acronyms up to speed

It’s doing great? Do numbers show that?

OA is not doing great. It’s a sinking ship. CPO DW recently fired along with much more talented PMs. Promise of a new underfunded product that’s probably two years away, or fools gold to a prospective buyer.

Cast off by RT and RJ. Moved to ES division to be stripped down and packaged out for spare parts.

Many do not expect to make it through rumored February RIF and definitely not past June 1. Many are stuck due to other tech layoffs, or OA being the last failure their careers can afford.

OA is doing great. Ask about OCI.
