Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Leaving Truist was the best choice

10 years of service and I have never been so overloaded, burden and stressed out like I was with Truist. I made the decision to leave and my mental/physical health, marriage and family are doing so much better! What hurts the most till this day is not knowing how badly Truist was impacting myself and others around me. If you don't want to leave Truist for yourself, then do it for those who you love.

Gave 11 years to this pathetic company. It just got worse and worse and once Suntrust came in it was beyond a joke. Left 2 years ago, went to another bank for a 26% raise, less work, and more work from home days. Would never work for this craphole

Congratulations to getting your life back. Left for all these same reasons. Hard to see it when you are trying to survive each day. So much lying, no support and I agree they make you think it's your fault for being stressed or you must have home issues going on. I have never worked with so much darkness. I didn't even know who I'd become, definitely not my happy loving self. They refuse to see, accept and correct all the things wrong no matter how many clients or long time associates leave. 20 plus years of my service not valued. Best to all because you can get your life back post Truist.

I can tell everyone that it is truly an amazing life after retirement from Truist!! After 32 yrs and all the stress… bullying…I took the retirement pkg within 2 min of getting the email!!! I really loved my job just not the stress and bullying that went on.

I left 6 months ago for this same exact reasons. I was stressed out, gained weight from not having time to take care of myself, drinking WAY too much, and having constant fights with my spouse. The thing that always upset me the most was getting those stupid mental health emails that alway made it sound like it was my fault for being stressed. Things are much better now and no amount of money could get me to go back.
