Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

I no longer have any trust in this leadership

In fact, I don't believe there are many people here who still trust this leadership. It's really hard to be focused on work and do your best when you have so little trust in those at the top.

Every day it becomes more and more obvious to me that these are people without a vision and a plan for the future of this company and that's why I have no more trust in them. You?

A little bird told me that "Joe T doesn't like explanations" which says it all...

I think just Joe T interacting with the “little” people in Wealth will have them leaving in droves. He may be the least capable and most unlikable senior executive I have ever met. And that is saying something around here!

Any of you government finance “Teammates” want to talk about your news this week?

Beau’s pride and joy hasn’t exactly been ki-ling it. Wealth wants to play in the big leagues and think they belong. The old STHR has always been a want to be. Minor leaguers thinking they are playing in the majors. Call out some of those frauds. You know who they are. We’ll wait…

Effectively a salary freeze in Wealth. This wasn't exactly a surprise after the October raises.

Hmmm, trust in leadership not important??? Keep saying/reading that to yourself and maybe your brain will wake up. When leadership pushes lies to the point it reaches clients' service, people with morales and integrity will not continue to sell and promote the lies being pushed to prospect and sell.

I was not hired to fo this work. This was an evolution of the merger. Clearly you must be in Executive mgmt getting those millions in salary and bonuses regardless of the cost.

Net income for SunTruist last quarter was 1.68b. Insurance was just under half of that. I bet Joe T didn’t use that to rally his troops.

Bonus cuts for everyone but not LTI. Doing the math on senior leadership payouts vs the decreased revenue is eye opening.

Are you saying 1 billion acts of care isn’t a viable strategy the market will respond to?

This is all you need to know about Suntrust leadership of this bank. Suntrust had no insurance business and it must pain them that it is the largest revenue producer instead of their beloved CIB area. Bill n Beau want to sell some or all of this division. This could be the reason Bible was terminated as he likely said you’re nuts when this came up.
Insurance, as had been the case with BB&T for several years, was the top revenue producer at $766 million, up 5.6% from the third quarter, but up 15% year over year.

I do not understand why trust in leadership is relevant as an employee. An employee is required to do the work assigned to them for what he/she is paid, period. He/she can go beyond the work assigned in hopes of getting better pay etc.
