Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I'm tired of the uncertainty

Of course, nobody's job is guaranteed anywhere, but working at Humana means constant worrying if you are going to lose your job. Isn't that a bit too much stress and uncertainty?
The best have already left because of that (among other reasons), but the feeling of uncertainty is now forcing the remaining ones to flee from here as well.

Try working for UHC…. They always do layoffs on a Thursday. And even worse, Christmas week.

Im pretty certain it’s the certainty that the company is going to he-l that is driving what talent is left out.

The uncertainty you describe is a tool used by the company. They like you to feel that way, it keeps you compliant. Add to the uncertainty, the fear of losing health care coverage, and it's easy to see why people are constantly put on edge.

80% of the problem which we are worried about will never going to happen. Problem is Humana’s culture and rotten apples in management. They unnecessarily create environment of fear. They don’t communicate at all. That’s the reason people have to be part of a**liking club.
