It is unnecessary to talk about how TR does not value its employees and how badly it treats them. I totally understand those who are afraid of losing this job, but I have reached the breaking point and I think that a layoff would even bring me a much-needed relief.

So happy they payed me off last year after 20 years with the company, the one I was hired to which was Creativesolutoins that everyone weee proud to work for. Not anymore, ever since Thomason acquisition and then merger with Reuters it’s been down hill and now all this outsourcing to India after taking all the tax benefits from Ann Arbor township. This company is a joke. Sorry to all the people that are still working in Ann Arbor office. You deserve better, just move on.
when they changed the vacation policy to unlimited, my S/O pointed out this is a tactic so that when someone is fired they cannot pay them out for vacation days.
Are we sure that we get a week per year of service for severance? I have heard that they will end the severance if they learn you have a new job.
Just need a couple more years then I'm out.
I'm 18 months from retirement. That's all I'm holding on for. And if my role gets "eliminated" before then, idgaf anymore.
TR is a sinking ship.
I recently left TR in December. Best decision I’ve ever made. My new company actually values my experience and their culture is 100x better than TR’s
Agreed. I’m sick of the need to have personal development goals every single year. Or how I have to drink the Kool aid regarding our values.
Just let me do my job, collect my paycheck, and log off/go home. I do NOT want to worship a company. I believe that’s called a cult.
I would not mind being let go. My severance would be for a year (I have 30 + years of service) and who needs the constant aggravation of reviews, check ins, required seminars, goals, development plans, MyTime, new technology to master, dealing with online Help Desk, etc.
