I've been hearing rumors of even more layoffs coming to PayPal in the next few months. I'm not sure there are enough of us left to lay off, to be honest, but this is PayPal and nothing would surprise me anymore. If the rumors are true, can anybody share more info on this, please?

Yeah, anything that they can quickly and "easily" (note the quotes) outsource to a low-cost region, they absolutely will.
I'm in Ireland, we are also expecting more lay offs, everything just seems to be "ticking over" management are being very quiet and rumours are rife. They halved our dept last July ( credit collections) and have re hired for the same positions in India, multiple training groups at this stage.
Am in U.S. at one of larger employee population sites. Over the last 3 weeks have had multiple outside-of-the-ordinary things occur, including but not limited to questions my manager asked me and his/her weird logic he/she prefaced them with. All of the outside-of-the-ordinary things could be viewed as pointing toward then eliminating me, and all together it seems like way more than meaningless coincidence. Now a meeting with said manager rescheduled from Feb 1 to Feb 2 but for no logical reason (his/her schedule has remained open at original meeting time), so am guessing new time is either when HR could attend or Feb 2 is when company wanted notifications made or both.
Has anyone else experienced strange goings-on that are outside of the ordinary and possibly meetings with or their manager or 1:1's scheduled or rescheduled for Feb 2?
If these rumors are true, I have no respect left for this pos company. Laying people off before RSUs vest and annual bonuses are issued is just plain trashy.
if dates given here are correct it would be just days before RSUs vesting… a miserable low point
I heard Feb. 1st
It's not a rumor, expected in mid-Feb. Polish your resumes and try to learn some extra little skills on Linked-in Learning or Udemy while you still have access for free.
I have no inside info but I suspect huge layoffs looming. Budgets slashed, a lot of people with nothing to do- at least in the marketing org.
With a bit of luck
