Who everyone saying this is fake go to the AT&T insider and type in employee exit process and resources for supervisors. There you will find all the instructions for the Legg org surplus today. People on the West Coast have not even started work yet for the day so once everyone begins their shift notifications will begin. Y’all act like you’ve never been through this before.

Those in ATO were told about a month ago that the numbers were somewhere between 5-10% dependably upon organization, sub market, existing headcount etc. This came from Robert Walters and those within in chain of command. It was expected to occur by end of January. So to those who say it’s not true , go back and watch the town halls and so forth.

Not one mention of which orgs (with vp names) are impacted. Everyone just throwing random numbers all just to scare people.
People, a lot of trolls jump on this forum to scare you! It's not a huge surplus that is happening and it's all made to bring fear. Not one post with actual names of the VP that layoffs are occurring under because it can easily be confirmed whether or not it's true.
I recommend that you go about your work and not focus on these types of forums because all you'll get is anxiety.

Meeting notifications are not required. A simple phone call from the manager to the employee is all that is required. Eating notification is optional. As mentioned below all notifications must be completed by 14:00 CT.

We already know at least 500-800 in ATS. It just comes down to how many will be involuntary. Hopeful it will be filled by natural attrition
That is what other groups were told as well. I don’t really trust what we were told. I think that was said to soften the blow. I feel like the only way this will come into play is if a particular area has lost a lot of knowledge through attrition. In my opinion their thought is the more that left on their own the better for them. It has been said before, and confirmed, we are down about 13k employees since the end of the 3qtr. It was the end of Sep when the first town hall took place where the surplus was openly mentioned and the comment about adjusting the number based on attrition. 13k employees lost and we are still expecting a surplus today. Come Feb 1 or shortly after we can see what the damage was. There are 157xxx employees now.
