Are there going to be cutbacks coming to Verizon

read company wants to cut 23% of their capital expeditures.does anyone know if they a going to reduce the workforce,depts,programs ,OT,,etc

Correction. Lots of employee hours get capitalized, so cutting those employees can also reduce capex vs just SGA/COGS expense

Employees are considered expense and will be included in any reduction of expense exercises.

Cost cutting will happen everywhere. Yes, it will impact the number of employees currently employed at Verizon. Other cuts will involve eliminating unnecessary expenditures. They should get rid of some of those corporate jets that we have to maintain. Many are being asked to think outside of the box and find solutions that does not require spending. We do not need so many executives, we are still top heavy and they need to eliminate unnecessary executives.
