Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

I try not to worry ahead of time

However, I am still very worried about whether I will be among those who get laid off. Waiting in uncertainty is really stressful. How do you cope with layoff anxiety?

Try growing up and being an adult. I can't believe some of the slop on this board.

I understand how you are feeling, I get anxiety too and it can be a challenge to stay positive. I've seen a lot of ups and downs in this industry so we will always have to brace for some sort of impact due to the nature of the business. It's not a good feeling I know, especially when you have tried your best and are not getting reassurances from your leadership. Every time I thought I was at the end of the line; I reached out for new opportunity, often outside of my comfort zone. HR will help reallocate talent. Not sure if that helps ease your worry, but we can't beat ourselves up when things are not within our control. The financial industry is like the cat with 9 lives. Whatever happens just know you will land on your feet, and it will be ok!

I am not worried at all as my side business can already sustain my low budget living since, unlike many Americans, I live below my means anyway. I just work here for the health insurance lol

You ask one of the old heads if you're a good worker or not. If they say you could be trying harder - You're on the list of people.
