Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

RISM literally only existed to audition people for rural express manager. They’ll either make that jump or go back to store manager. Existing store managers that thought SMRA was a “rocket ship to accelerate your career,” will now have not only less opportunities but competition for the job they have NOW as Sr leaders try to force their displaced buddies into manager roles.

T-Mobile is the worst. They let go of all Metro DDM positions but created a new role that does the exact same! And offering all impacted employees to re-apply for the exact same role they were doing before???

Rural Market Managers were impacted but not all just the ones who had a weird territory map. However the same territory map was designed by the same people who decided to let them go saying it didn’t make sense and for that reason you’re out.

District managers are now all Sr. Managers.

Close to a 100 Sr. Manager and hundreds of Retail Development Managers positions were opened for the same people who were impacted to apply?????

Wake up to those reading and do a discrimination class action! Don’t sign package and waive your right to a larger lawsuit payout!

Lastly, don’t believe what this company says…. they are playing with peoples lives!

The bonus that pays in 2 first in 7 months and then 2nd 5 months later so they can do a bunch more layoffs first to ensure they dont have to payout the bonus to everyone employed currently yess lets clap and thank them! Holy shhhhhht you all really have your heads up your a$$e$ and cant see reality if it bit you in the damn face .... WTAF ... there is going to be way more layoffs there already has been this year and will continue to be next month and onward you mo--ns ... and next year which is why they reduced the carryover ... it sure the he-l wasnt for work life balance lmaoooooo... they literally give 0 fks about any of the people there but themselves ... that place used to be awesome now its absolutely horrible they have gone way down hill they dont give a sh-t about the employees or customers and their severance package is pure sh-t and set up to sc--w you over on purpose why???? Cause they dont care you dedicated your career tothem ive seen so many of our good friends get let go and the deal they got was horse sh-t i feel so bad for them people talk about sprint well at least sprint cared and at least they did right in their severance and didnt sc--w people sheesh .... used to love it here now its head down and bide time ... sure sucks to feel that way

I heard they are going to replace Brian King with a sack of potatoes. It's much more productive.

Mr Frier specifically said last year they had to cut positions then, so we didn't have to do it every year. I took him at his word, but now seems like more cuts are coming. How does one raise a family with this company?

They have already laid off several Metro Directors.
Tomorrow the rest of the layoffs will start to roll down at all levels.
Territory Manager positions are rumored to be eliminated, and several Rural Indirect Sales Manager positions.

But I also heard it will be layoffs at all levels now and in six months.
It feels like a slap in the face, especially after all the years I've worked for T-Mobile.
