Unless you are close to actual retirement you need to find a way out. Eventually you are going to get caught up in it and if the economy takes an even bigger turn down, getting back to work may be difficult. So leave on your feet rather than on your back. And if you are under 6 months to retirement, pray they pick you for severance. That way you get a nice 6 month vacation complete with unemployment benefit before you start to collect.
For the rest of you, good luck and heed everyone's advice. It's good and solid and will hopefully make your life better.
P.S. "restructuring" means layoffs. "we restructured and your job is no longer relevant".

2923 definitely will be diff than anything we’ve ever imagined. The Great Reset will change much globally. Oracle is already outdated and things are moving fast. The strong in each industry will survive and change with the times. LE & SC are not stupid they have just begun.
Individuals Thad have been saving for the past years & tightened their belts will better prepared. Those that have been spending as if you will always make what you are making will have a tough time.
Middle management will be SOL.
The changes that we will realize in 2023 have been in the works for many years.
Tighten your belts. Save and don’t spend unless it’s absolutely necessary and you’ll get through this.

Got news for you bro, the economy will turn upside down THIS YEAR! 2023 will be the most tumultuous year in modern history. For those of us who are debt free and have a plan, it will be less stressful than for us than for the constantly planning but overall clueless person.
Great advice, I am 11 months from retirement and hoping that Oracle hands me my walking papers that will allow me to start my next adventure ahead of schedule.
