Laid off from Wells Fargo this year. All of those long hours of overtime, many nights. Working all weekend for months. Produced "critical" reports for the company that went into production with no errors. Co-workers copying my computer code and "rebranding it" as their own. They get a great review and I get a "Needs Improvement" review. Wow don't miss it at all. Have a much better new job now at much higher pay. Yeah. A great relief. The truth be told. AND there are many other better jobs out there as well. I like the new job I have right now and if Wells Fargo did not lay me off this year I would still be there and not in this much happier lifestyle.

I work from home but the calls I get from bankers who are working from home are ridiculous. Some pretend certain systems don't work. We can see it all even then you hang up on a customer. Call center employees belong in the office as do all their co-workers. I have no problem working in the office, kids are in schools and shopping malls , gyms and movie theaters are Open and packed. if you can't work in office, you can't go to other stores....
These posts are good because they remind everyone that working hard is pointless (like RTO).
Work your hind end off just to get canned. I won't do it. I used to worry about how I look to the bosses. Not anymore.

It is so terrible what is going on with the rating on a curve. Let’s see who the managers are that get employees with push back. Why don’t we poll peers to see if employees deserve the lower rating. Let’s do analysis of the good old boy network in certain areas. There’s a trend and I hope there is an investigation into it and fires the guilty managers.

Good for you ! Sucks when you get let go, especially when you were giving them so much, but sounds like you’re better off. Set boundaries with your new gig - if you have to. None of my friends/family work the way WFC expects people to work which, honestly, should have been a huge red flag.
I’m out right after bonus. I’ve got a few interviews and screens in the next two weeks.
