Total team size: 25 (80% remote)
# of Directors: 4 (100% remote)
# of Leads: 16 (75% remote)
Other: 5
Out of the 21 analysts, 16 are Leads (76%)
Can we please promote the other 5 of us to Lead and make us Remote too?

@15k well there’s one person that always replies “shut up” and then there’s another person whenever there’s anything about RTO they immediately attack their maturity with no substance. In the lower left corner it shows how many days since the last post.
It’s not odd. It’s just very simple math and writing patterns a 3rd grade teacher could decipher.

This is an anonymous site, so how are you able to claim who is posting what and how many days apart? Very odd behavior!
I agree with @qg+1k9z8wn7y. Whining on a layoff site about not being remote is kind of silly. Going remote will get you nowhere. Probably best to put your efforts towards looking for a new job. Playing layoff lotto is not the best career choice.
I didn’t read it as the poster “crying” about being remote. It does seem id--tic for all their leaders and 75% of their most experienced (Leads) to be remote (going against the ethos and mindset of why we are back in office).
If those stats were reversed it’d be one thing.
Like bro, you message the same way, clearly the same person. Why tf you always on here like every three days just tearing people down? Honestly? Get laid.
You have a job, but you are on a layoff site crying about not being remote! Your maturity level is severely lacking.
That team is fu---d…and the EMG that allowed that to happen.
Oh jesus honey.. That team is about to get gutted with those stats. Being a senior or 1 on site is the safest place you can be.
My bet, the directors eventually get laid off along with most of the leads in first half of 2026. The onsite leads get promoted to directors. Each team will be allowed to have 1 MAYBE 2 two leads (onsite) -> that’s your best bet to promote / apply for position.
Didn't you get the memo? We don't say Enterprise any more. Definitely not Lead material if you can't snap to the new jargon. Did you think we promote based on contribution, skills, and knowledge?
Other risk programs targeted remote leads for layoffs. It’s probably not the safest space to be sitting in.
