FYI - My team terminated a new hire a couple months because this person couldn’t do their job correctly.
@19x failed your pip? They just don’t fire one person for no reason. It takes a lot to fire someone unless it’s a large layoff. So my guess is you weren’t performing and they let you go.
What was your position? And in what market?
Got laid off today. No notice. Position eliminated bc I’m not a senior analyst yet they are hiring 2. Asked why I wasn’t considered and mgr ignored me and let Hr finish their spiel

Ha! If the open enrollment announcement isn’t a clear enough sign there will be layoffs I don’t know what is. You get 25% of hsa deposit each quarter. They don’t want to be giving out $2000 to people who won’t be here from the sale and then from subsequent layoffs. Tighten up that resume.
They can go ahead and cut my severance check…
There is a planned layoff for us non-perimeter people after the close and the separation period ends where they have to support network until they get their stuff together. D&D is needed too much until that happens.
Never heard of a company like ours get turned around because of their IT department…that would be funny as he-l.

So glad to finally leave crown. The new job pays 22k more a year than my base salary at crown + public service loan forgiveness and a pension.
