Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Was 10/15 that bad??

Was today October 15th really that bad? Yes, it is sad people have lost their roles (unless they wanted to of course) but I have only heard of a handful of names. From previous posts you thought there would be 1000+ Anyone know total number of colleagues who left us today?

Always post something that makes people question “ if it was that Bad…”

It shouldn’t be happening at all. Get through your heads. Xerox is in serious trouble, and anyone still here is in worse trouble than you know.

All the months and months of denying rumors and telling people they were off base or crazy, is finally starting to show itself to be true.

Its like 100 people loose their jobs, and someone says … well they were just salespeople, or just technicians, or even they were just supply reps.
That logic is so flawed it’s not even funny.
These are all people that make xerox work. But now between layoffs and extremely poor decisions being made, nothing is going to work for anyone, anymore.

If you are going to be lied to, don’t believe everything that you hear as truth. At least from management, or the shell that’s left.

It hit three in here in XBS sales - larger comp plans for two of them - other was here four years and never got the benefit of the doubt from the grand pubbah and her drinking buddies who lead the sales team. I'm seeing the specialists leaving in droves - managed print, tech, production all going out the door. Two left in the last week alone - one sales leader left her crew high and dry and went to a competitor - and was allowed to work out the balance of the week in which she resigned because they have no-one else to play "Pong" with all of the offshore order prevention specialists". I got this job when my aunt was doing the hiring around here and now i'm planning my move too, just as soon as I get paid for a deal that funded in August but still has paperwork holding up my comp.

all that means is that the total is less than 15%... 15% is the W.A.R.N. threshold. but in the combined companies theres just over 26K people. which means the total could be as high as 3900 and they dont have to do warn OR an SEC filing about it
