It seems that hPXD employees transferred into the XOM system at elevated positions and inflated CLs to accommodate PXDs more lucrative compensation. Due to this and the fact hXOM know how to play the XOM ranking game better, hPXD employees are being set up to fail in ranking against hXOM employees.

@b6 this is a wild take. After uncon takes a dive, what assets/roles do you think this company will have? Will people be working all of the shiny new offshore conventional assets we're discovering? Lithium? CCUS?
What I’m curious about is what the agreement was for the 55 and older pxd folks. Do those folks have to work 15? I would hope not but what is the deal?

hPXD know only UNCON and cannot fit in EM elsewhere? Meanwhile EM moving downstream people into upstream and vice versa. GP into SC and vice versa.
Why don’t you give up your high salaries and come work for low CL like rest of us? Seems like you are over paid and you are complaining. Take your experience elsewhere and see if you can get what we pay you. No sympathies for you here from my side. We need to be fair to all, some of PXD folks actually are doing well, some not.
Pioneer employees will be hammered for lack of mobility and only knowing Uncon. Post 2030 there won’t be nearly enough work for all of the people currently working in Uncon.
OP laugh all you want but recall hXOM employees decided to buy Pioneer for double its worth.

hPXD here and thriving. What hXOM fail to understand is PXD was hunger games on steroids.
