@ww Field Reps jobs aren't real?? If it wasn't for Field Reps there would be no Nielsen. Nielsen can do without Membership Reps but Field Reps keep the company going otherwise you'd be well somewhere else.
@104 you lost me at no cell phone bill. It's one thing to use the car for personal use. I do and we pay for it as well; not free but better than having a car note. However, one must have his or her personal cell phone. Personal info on a work issued phone should be a big no no. I suggest you get you a mint phone at least and become a productive cell phone owned adult.
@ww The job isn't for everyone. Some people like the lifestyle, the visits to homes, working with their buddies, the work isn't hard like construction, we aren't climbing poles here, some days are easy, some are hard, I like having no car payment and no cell phone bills. Surely there are folks that will not believe this and will say I am d-mb and that anyone like me is d-mb. I could leave and work somewhere else but I prefer not to and I do not feel like I am missing out on anything.

@vx It is crazy to imagine that people actually like working at Nielsen but guess what, so many of us do not want to lose our positions with the company in the future. We aren't ignorant and we know it may happen at some point as tech progresses but for right now we are full steam ahead. All experiences and viewpoints are not the same and I'm not going to be a je-k to those that disagree but feel free to keep attacking those that do not feel like you do.
@a6 You're definitely a REAL troll-- you don't say when you left, and came back. Meaning, you came back long before layoffs, and riding management di-k hard.
It's not hard to figure out who you are, there are only so many people in the field praising Nielsen as a great employer, and they're all in management.
@a6, why don't you just say you are a field rep that would need to Uber if Nielsen wouldn't have you? People that come here where talking about a career an not just the d-mbest job in the world!
@a6 It's not about spite. The comments here are aimed at addressing a sickness, an illness, a company that shouldn't operate the horrible way in which it does.
Enough said. I'm glad you're happy but imho you are essentially collaborating with the sicker side of the industry. It would behoove you to start looking around for a healthier gig coz over time you'll probably end up miserable.

@a6 I got a job and a huge raise over my previous salary. Getting laid off was the best thing they ever did for me!

I’m still not a fake troll. Also, not going to share any information about this company with a bunch of spiteful people who were laid off and still can’t find a job because they are too busy posting about their former employer rather than finding a job.
