Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I don't want to miss the package

That's the only reason I'm still here. I have skills that make me marketable (it is always most important to keep your skills up to date), so I wouldn't want to "save" Humana that money by leaving. I believe that severance is the biggest reason why many of us are here? I would change my mind and leave voluntarily only in case I get a much, much better offer in the meantime.

Well it’s pretty evident that one female upper executive waited for their golden basket!

PTO is taxed at 40%, as is the AIP. What dept were you RIFd from ? Was it just you? I’m wondering if my department is going to have more. They haven’t said it’s over, and if you read the project growth things on the hi page, it’s going to still be going on

PTO is taxed at 50%. Try to take as much time before you are let go. PTO limit is 184 if you’re eight years or less and 200 and something if you’re more than nine years. HR can let you know. Also ask them if it’s going to change in 2023 since you will still be working in 2023.

@4uhq+1k5dfUPm, if you are RIFed they will pay out all of your PTO per policy. Plus they will pay you through the 60 day notice period (even if you don’t work) AND then after the 60 day notice period, your severance starts. Good luck to you!

Don't let them know you're waiting on severance. They will find away to fire you.

You don’t know if you’re going to get a package—because you have no idea if you’ll be laid off. You’re waiting for something that may never happen.

Oh I’m not leaving without my severance. I’ve been here many many years and not leaving until I get RIF’ed
